Meli Honey Platter
Ingredients:
Assorted cold cuts (prosciutto, salami, smoked turkey, or your choice)
Assorted cheeses (such as brie, feta, havarti etc.)
2 tbsp Meli Honey
Fresh figs (halved)
Assorted crackers or crostini
Olives (green, black, or mixed)
Fresh fruit (grapes, berries, or apple slices)
Dips (such as hummus, tzatziki, or olive tapenade)
Instructions:
Prepare the Platter:
On a large serving board or platter, begin by arranging the assorted cold meats in one section. Fold or roll them to create a visually appealing display.
In separate areas, arrange the cheeses. You can cut some into wedges or cubes and leave others whole for a more rustic look.
Add fresh figs, cut in half, and scatter them around the platter.
Add the Accompaniments:
Place crackers or crostini around the platter, creating space for dipping and pairing with meats and cheeses.
Add a variety of olives, creating little clusters of green, black, or mixed varieties.
Include small bowls of your chosen dips (hummus, tzatziki, or tapenade) for extra flavour.
Drizzle with Meli Honey:
Once your platter is arranged, drizzle the Meli Honey generously over the cheeses and meats, allowing the sweetness to combine with the savoury elements.
Garnish and Serve:
Garnish the platter with fresh fruit, such as grapes, berries, or apple slices, to add colour and freshness.
Optionally, add a few sprigs of fresh herbs like rosemary or thyme for extra flair.
